Comics/Sequential Art @UW Stout – Comics created by the students at UW Stout. Some are autobiographical, even fewer are medical, but they are well worth a mention.

Diagnosis: Medical Student –

Growing Up Comic – Growing Up Comic is creator Matt Roscetti’s ongoing “love letter” to childhood – a series of strip-style comics that both memorialize and provide commentary on childhood. The site also includes Matt’s portfolio of other work and a link to a shop where you can buy prints and more.

Loading Artist – “Loading Artist is a webcomic about many things, sometimes revolving around an artist who wants to become rich and famous.” Featured here for the painfully honest, yet funny, showcasing of anxiety.

Bittermensch

Super Safe Comics – from the website: Super Safe Comics™ is an educational series focused on safety and injury prevention for children and families. The 16-page comic books are for children from kindergarten through fourth grade. Each issue features Captain Super Safe and his friends as they tackle safety issues including, bicycle and helmet safety, pedestrian safety, dog bite prevention, water safety, fire safety, and concussion education. The series is written by Kevin Borrup and illustrated by Scott DaRos and Alexis Deprey.
